Here are my last two cards for 2020 I think the recipients should have received them by now well  I hope so . O Holy Night

 My card today was made using a old stamp from INCA STAMP called Christmas Carol . I cut a shape from Die-Namic  rec, scollope frames to  stamp my image on then coloured it with promarkers added some glitter to the candle and cut a gold frame to add to my image , the O Holy Night stamp is a hero arts ..

Beautiful Stencil

I just love this stencil and I have seen so many amazing cards made from it.  For my card i went with distress inks Old Paper and Antique Linen to colour, i stamped an old Hero arts snowman into the middle and coloured it with promarkers, I cut some small pine  sprigs and used Antique Linen to colour them , a bit of glitter to finish off my card.

Merry Christmas

Another card to share today using the Lamp Post die from memory Box,  I cut the inner circle from a piece of waste paper that I made with brusho’s  . The background was made from a stampin up embossing folder called falling snow I think, unless I just made that up lol. Need a Hug

 Hello all , I can not believe how long it’s been since I last posted  on my blog, but due to my youngest daughter and son both having knee operations and my son having a motor bike accident and breaking quite a few ribs I have been kept busy, and just very recently losing a very dear friend to this horrible thing called covid . But our spirits was raised a bit today when this absolutely cute card came through the post from one of my lovely blogging friends Emma from Trenouths crafty creations it really made us smile thank you Emma we love it.. I don’t seem to have got my mojo back but I am on with some christmas cards so hopefully I will be back posting soon..

I have tried all day to post this card I did not have a clue how to do it as it’s the first time I have posted since the new blogger started, but my good friend Joan from late night stamping told me how to do it so here we are..

Morning all , well daughter back  at home she had a  bit of a restless night ,but she’s doing good, thank you for your get well wishes that was very nice of you all and very much appreciated.   I came across this cute House Mouse stamp from Stampendous the other day I bought it some while ago but  only used it once , I have a few stamps Like that a must have at the time but never get round to doing anything with them . I used promarkers to colour the image ,stamped sentiment is from Hero arts welcome sentiment is a die and  I am not sure where I got it because since I used it I have put it away but where beats me lol. and the embossed heart folder is  from Marianne Design .

You Make Me Smile

My youngest daughter goes into hospital tomorrow morning for her knee operation she has been waiting  for 2 years ,and is in constant pain , we sound a real crock family dont we lol. she has been self isolating for the last 2 weeks and on sunday she had to go for a covid 19 test I dont want to scare anybody so I wont go into detail  but she said it wasnt a very nice experience and  hopes she never has to have another one . My second card today is another Penny Black image from the Hugs set , I coloured it with promarkers

Friendships

Hope you all had a lovely weekend Mine was very quite as I was not feeling to good, I  had another flare up of my gallbladder on Friday evening the pain is horrendous and always makes me sick so spent a couple of hours on and off with my head in the loo, no word yet of when I will be going for my gallbladder out hope it’s not to long.. Today’s card I have gone with a Penny Black stamp called Bejeweled it’s only the second time I have inked it up  and I have had it for a while, I coloured the stamp with Tombow ABT duel brush pens then spritz it with water before stamping it on to a piece of white water colour card that I cut out using a hexagon shape , I love this technique watching how the image dries and the affect you get.  Using the hexagon die I cut the main card in a deep pink to match the colour of my stamped image , once my image was dry I added a bit of stencilling  and stamped the sentiment on to my card.

No Mojo

 Well I think my mojo has gone into isolation along with my brain and concentration lol. I must have had all my stamps out yesterday but nothing and I mean  nothing at all jumped out at me , so they all went  back away, then I came across some stamped images that a dear friend of mine sent me , I set off to colour them but made a mess of two  and this was my third attempt at colouring,  the image i have used is from Penny Black not sure of its name but i love it. I coloured it with promarkers , my Birthday sentiment is from a molly blooms set.

I have a card to share today using an image from Tim Holtz stamp set  Crazy Dogs I stamped it on to a piece of  card I coloured with Brusho’s  and fussy cut it out. I used two sized square dies  to cut out two square shapes one in black and one in kraft card , I used a circle die  to cut a hole in the middle of the kraft card then I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder to emboss  it , I placed a piece of green brusho card with the sentiment on behind the embossed piece . I have used a 6x6 kraft card which I stamped dog bones on around the edges then added the rest of my project to the 6x6 kraft card and a little bone . Finito

I have a Get  Well  card to share today it’s not for anybody I need a couple of get well cards for my box . I received this die and stamp set for my birthday and I thought I would have a little play with it and see what I came up with , I stamped up one of the stamps from Gorgeous Grunge from Stampin up , and used  a few of my distress ink pads a few of them are drying up but I carnt understand why as I havnt really had them that long and hardly use them unless its the way I store them, if any of my blogging friends would like to share how you store yours I would be very grateful.

Wishing You..

I stamped and coloured this image a couple of weeks ago , but I never got to post it, reason being (clumsy clot ) here forgot the sharp knife was in the washing up bowl and cut two of my fingers lucky for me I didn’t need stitches , normally I don’t leave sharp knifes in the bowl but the phone rang and off I went  to answer it , then on my return completely for got about the knife in the bowl ouch and the rest is history as they say lol , it didn’t need stitches fortunately so all good there. but it was quite  deep and i had a bit of trouble getting it to stop bleeding but with the help of (Dr Watson) my hubby we managed to stop the bleeding and got  it dressed , it got me out of the washing up for a few days lol. Anyway all is good now. Lesson learnt don’t leave sharpe knifes in the washing up bowl lol.   Last Monday 1st of June was my birthday and it came on the day when we all was aloud 6 people in your garden , so with social distancing in place I got to see all my family through out the day, they all took turns of coming to see me with birthday cards and gifts , just seeing them was the best birthday present ever and I had the best day ever too. this beautiful image is a unmounted stamp from Liliofthevalley I had everything cut to size so it was just a matter of glueing everything in place..sentiment stamp is a Hero Arts

I think I would be going mad now if I didn’t have my cards to make and keep me sane lol. Happy Birthday ..

Birthday Wishes

Sharing a Rocker card today that I’ve made for a friend, I cut a circle and stamped a old script stamp from Hero arts called Manuscript.  with a versa mark pad , then embossed it with white embossing powder and ran over it with a green distress ink pad   it dosnt show up to well,  flowers are heartfelt creations that I stamped and coloured them with distress inks ,  butterfly stamp is a old PSX that I bought in 2001, the sentiment stamp is from a company called lady bug ,  can you tell I have been rummaging through my old stamps. Dies used are spellbinders classic scollope circles , and for the rocker card I used Tonic studio, the  DP is a new 6x6 paper pad I have just purchased called Garden of Love

Happy 50th wedding Anniversary

Morning hope you all have enjoyed your week the best you could have., and all staying safe. Today is a very special day for Hubby & I as we celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary , 50 years married to the day and as I’ve said before my dad,  god rest his sole said it wouldn’t last 5 mins lol but here we are 50 years later still together and going strong.. Hubby and I went off to New York at the end of February to celebrate a early Anniversary we had the most amazing time and just loved every minute we spent most of our time looking up lol , and I think we just got home in time  too just before all this Coronavirus raised its ugly head.. the family had planned a bit of a get together just the family but that had to be cancelled for now. I made two Anniversary cards yesterday morning one for hubby from me to him, and one for hubby to give me., as we we’re unable to go to the shops it was a last minute thing, then yesterday afternoon I spent looking for my anniversary stamp and still carnt find it it’s the Only one I have, so I think it’s time I treated myself to a new one . Also yesterday morning I found out that one of our neighbours have a birthday next tuesday she will be 90, so I made her a card too while I was on , I made a rocker card first one ever, I don’t know why I havnt made one before now there so easy, so I would like to share my cards with you all..

I spent most of yesterday afternoon stamping and colouring flower heads with my distress ink pads the flowers are from Honey Doo crafts called trio flowers , which I have had for a few years I cut them out with the matching Dies , I cut a circular die which I stamped the borrowed  sentiment on and then arranged the flowers around the edge of the circle.
