With love..
I am sharing a card with you today that I found a bit difficult . I took a piece of stamping card and one of my square dies and cut out a square. Then I took my flower die and some masking paper and cut myself a shape . I put the masked shape onto the square shape then with my distress ink pad Shaded lilac I blended ink all over when I was happy with the colour I removed my mask, I took the flower stamp inked it with my black momento ink pad and stamped it onto the negative masked shape of the flower , I must admit this was the best out of six attempts lol I just couldn’t get the stamp lined up correctly with the die shape, plus I was tired, anyway I managed it in the end and this was the end result which I am very pleased with, I can not remember who’s make to a special friend stamp is as I have lost the packet, I have spritz my card but it dose not show up that well. A bit of news now Hubby and I are going to America on Tuesday I am so excited, it’s always been a dream of mine to visit New York one day, this May we will be celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary so what better time to go. 50 years married my dad said it would not last five mins. Bless him.. So this will be my last card for a week, see you all when I get back.

That's such a striking card Babs, worth the effort going through the process as it's lovely.
If it helps any, my in-laws said exactly the same when we married, didn't help that I was only seventeen, but 50+ years on still going strong. Have a fabulous time on New York, it will be a trip to remember I am sure.

Beautiful!! I like it very much that you left the flower white. This has a great effect on the blue background.

Now my sense of humour is not everyones taste but just had to say that one of the challenges you have entered is 'Day of the Month' challenge and not 'Time of the month' challenge.

Well, you made quite a lovely card, so it looks worth the difficulty. So excited for you to travel to my country and huge congrats on 50 years! Hubby and I will celebrate 33 years in May and at our wedding my mom and my boss were making bets how long it would last.
