Happy Birthday...

Well hubby and I went off on our trip to America  had a fantastic time  saw and did everything we wanted to do ,but  on our last  night I took ill I was up most of the night being unwell, the next day we had to be out of our hotel room by 12 noon and our transfer to the airport wasnt till 3 in the afternoon, I was in so much pain too, so by the time we arrived at the airport I was in agony, our flight back to the UK wasnt till 7.05 ,6.30 arrived only to be told that our flight was going to be delayed by 3 hours, they need to put some new brakes on the plane, great I thought that's all I need. Anyway 2 hours later we were on our way home still feeling terrible, on our way up to yorkshire from manchester I phoned our GP told her how i felt I got right into see her, half an hour later I am in hospital I had a scan and a mri scan and was told I had Gallstone Pancreatitis,  and a kidney  infection I stayed in hospital  for 5 days then was aloud home with two lots of antibiotics and pain killers, I have to have my gallbladder out at some time in the near future.

I have not felt like doing anything since I came home but it's my sister_in_laws birthday and I know she loves hand made cards and loves flowers, so I made myself make this card for her, so using the Golden Dance stamp from penny Black I stamped and coloured the image with pro-markers cut the image out with the matching die. Cut out two postage shapes and made a card from them , I stamped field  of sky very lightly in the background with a grey ink pad , it's a old stamp and I just love it, then adhered my image .

Oh dear Babs, it sounds like you’ve had a dreadful time. My niece has just had her gall bladder taken out and her pain free life is so much better, so I wish you well with your operation. Your card is very pretty and I love the burst of red. Take care and get well soon. Ratty hugs, Sandra x

I'm so glad to see you got to make a card Babs, I know from our 'chats' how poorly you have been and can totally identify with all that pain, when I had one of my kidney infections the doctor at hospital told me many women tell him the pain is worse than childbirth.

This is such a lovely PM image and the bold reds really pop against the white, many thanks for sharing and joining in with our 'Spring Flower' themes at Penny Black and More and Stamping Sensations challenges.

Babs, so sorry to read of your illness. That must have been a miserable and scary flight home girlie. Do hope making this card cheered you a bit and this finds you feeling better each day!
