Happy Birthday

Hi hope everyone is staying well and safe at home, thank goodness for crafting I think I would be going mad by now if I didn’t have my crafting goodies. I have a card to share today, made up with a few different stamps, but the main image is a Molly Bloom stamp , I have this image and a few more of molly Blooms I bought years ago. I stamped and coloured him with promarkers then masked him off, I made the clouds with a hand made stencil , the grassy hill is a unmounted stamp that I have had for  ever so not sure where I got it from, and the little flower stamp belongs to a sheet of Penny Black stamps, and the happy birthday is a Whispers Words from do-crafts.

Beautiful Dahlia .

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky to have been picked as one of the winners  in the February challenge over at Penny Black & More my lovely gift was a £15 gift voucher from Stamp Addicts  I chose this beautiful Dahlia background stamp which is quite large and unmounted which I love. I did the distress ink resist technique , I love this technique stamping in versa mark and white embossing and then using your distress ink pad to blend over the top..  I cut myself  a tag with a metal die that I got from China,  i stamped Thank You onto my tag with versa mark ink pad then added white embossing powder and heat set it. The Thank You  stamp is from a very old set of stamps called Card Wishes and is from See-D’s stamps there’s 22 sentiment stamps in this set , I havnt used them in years. I inked a little ribbon bow the same colour distress ink pad I used on my background and added a love heart sequin to finish.

                                                       

The card underneath was made the same way but this time I just used a different colour, I cut a piece of white card to fit  across my image I stamped my sentiment again in versa mark added some white embossing powder and heat set it , this stamp is also from See-D’s stamps , I used my distress ink pad to cover the sentiment.

It's your Day..

Another card to share today, that I made with a cute little character from a sheet of penny black stamps I coloured the image with pro-markers and added a couple of sequins,  I cut a speech bubble shape and stamped on it ,  it's your day spoil yourself silly which is also from penny black..

I still dont feel a 100% but I have an appointment tomorrow to see the specialist about having my gallbladder out, so hopefully I wont have long to wait. I did have another attack on saturday, but it was my own fault, I ate a pkt of cheese and onion  baked crisps thinking with them being baked I would be ok, but boy  did I realise 15 mins later I should not have eaten them, and ended up being poorly again and spent quite a while in the bathroom the pain is horrendous and makes me very sick, it leaves me frightened to eat anything, but it’s a good job I love fish, sea food and veg and seems it’s ok for me.. But anyway onto my card 

Sharing a card with you today that I created using a lovely stamp from lili of the valley  which I coloured with pro-markers ,the little smile sentiment  die cut is from cheery Lynn Designs, background spotted paper is just a scrap piece I had left from some other project.

Happy Birthday...

Well hubby and I went off on our trip to America  had a fantastic time  saw and did everything we wanted to do ,but  on our last  night I took ill I was up most of the night being unwell, the next day we had to be out of our hotel room by 12 noon and our transfer to the airport wasnt till 3 in the afternoon, I was in so much pain too, so by the time we arrived at the airport I was in agony, our flight back to the UK wasnt till 7.05 ,6.30 arrived only to be told that our flight was going to be delayed by 3 hours, they need to put some new brakes on the plane, great I thought that's all I need. Anyway 2 hours later we were on our way home still feeling terrible, on our way up to yorkshire from manchester I phoned our GP told her how i felt I got right into see her, half an hour later I am in hospital I had a scan and a mri scan and was told I had Gallstone Pancreatitis,  and a kidney  infection I stayed in hospital  for 5 days then was aloud home with two lots of antibiotics and pain killers, I have to have my gallbladder out at some time in the near future. 

I have not felt like doing anything since I came home but it's my sister_in_laws birthday and I know she loves hand made cards and loves flowers, so I made myself make this card for her, so using the Golden Dance stamp from penny Black I stamped and coloured the image with pro-markers cut the image out with the matching die. Cut out two postage shapes and made a card from them , I stamped field  of sky very lightly in the background with a grey ink pad , it's a old stamp and I just love it, then adhered my image .
